July 18, 2018 – Douglas Provincial Park – Bird ID and Atlas Basics Workshop

When: Wednesday, July 18, 11:00am – 12:00pm (Nature Centre)

Join us for a one-hour presentation to learn some basic bird identification techniques and how anyone can contribute to the Saskatchewan Breeding Bird Atlas.

July 19, 2018 – Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park – Bird ID and Atlas Basics Workshop + Morning Bird Walk (8:00am July 20)

Presentation: Thursday, July 19, 7:00pm – 8:00pm (Amphitheater)
Bird walk: Friday, July 20, 8:00am – 9:00am (Ridges and Ravines Trail)

Join us for a one-hour presentation to learn some basic bird identification techniques and how anyone can contribute to the Saskatchewan Breeding Bird Atlas.

We will also be taking a short birding walk the next morning, leaving from the Ridges and Ravines Trail head. Bring along weather appropriate clothing and footwear, as well as binoculars if you have them.

July 20, 2018 – Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park – Bird ID and Atlas Basics Workshop + Morning Bird Walk (7:00am July 21)

Presentation: Friday, July 20, 7:30pm – 8:30pm (Amphitheater)
Bird walk: Saturday, July 21, 7:00am – 8:00am (Highland Trail)

Join us for a one-hour presentation to learn some basic bird identification techniques and how anyone can contribute to the Saskatchewan Breeding Bird Atlas.

We will also be taking a short birding walk the next morning, leaving from the Highland Trail head. Bring along weather appropriate clothing and footwear, as well as binoculars if you have them.

Join us for a free workshop to learn the basics of how to identify birds and how you can easily contribute your observations to the largest citizen science project ever undertaken in the province!
